Dr. Jasmeet Kaur Wadhwa is a renowned paediatric allergist, bronchoscopist, and pulmonologist in India. She graduated from Lady Harding Medical College in New Delhi with a bachelor’s in medicine, Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi with a master’s in paediatrics, and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi with a DNB paediatrics (2000–2002).

She finished her senior residency at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi (2006-2009) after completing a three-year fellowship in paediatric pulmonary medicine at the Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital in New Delhi (2003-2006).

She recently received an international degree as a European Diplomate in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine after passing the Paediatric HERMES exam in December 2018 at the APPS conference in Beijing, China.

She can do Neonatal and Pediatric Flexible Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy in patients with airway disease or anomalies, as well as recurrent pneumonia, lung collapse, chronic chest disorders, and tuberculosis.

She uses a standardized spirometer to do pulmonary (lung) function tests on children as young as 3 or 4 years old. Even in those who have just had a persistent cough for months, this aids in the correct diagnosis and monitoring of asthma.

She is experienced and has good hands when it comes to identifying allergies caused by airborne indoor/outdoor/food allergens using a specialized Skin Allergy test on patients who are experiencing allergic symptoms.

She is skilled in the treatment of tuberculosis, drug-resistant tuberculosis, chronic chest illnesses, and chest physiotherapy.

She has more than ten years of experience managing difficult respiratory cases, such as difficult asthma, persistent pneumonia, congenital chest malformations, cystic fibrosis, and other atopic or allergic disorders. She is the Director of the Asthma Allergy TB Chest & Child Centre at Vikas Puri.

She works as a Super specialist at the Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute in Paschim Vihar and the BLK Super Specialty Hospital in New Delhi.

She has more than 15 years of experience managing patients in her line of work. She has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in both patient care and education. She graduated from a prominent Delhi hospital with substantial clinical and academic training in paediatrics and paediatric pulmonary medicine.

She is one of the few pediatric pulmonologists operating in Delhi.
